are Sally and Joe, architects of music. They tell their story of life
through strong melodies and intricate beats by fusing sounds from generations
passed with a very personal love of today’s beat chic. Or in otherwords
. . . we really love music, making it, listening to it, being around people

Having gigged individually
on the Leicester music scene, Sally and Joe have come together to work
off each other’s solid music experience.
Take the bass and melancholy of Massive Attack and Portishead combined
with the fluidity of Air; add in a bit of dance, funk and a pinch of hip-hop,
marinade in Joni Mitchell and then stay up all night to watch the sun
come up, You’ve got Phonek.

play regularly at various Leicester venues including The Orange Tree,
Landsdown, Sumo and Farside.
